Inventory accompaniment

An inventory is always a snapshot. With the start of normal operation in the warehouse after the inventory, checking of results of counts is no longer possible free of doubts.

To be able to keep the duration of the inventory as short as possible without the precision suffering, the preparations play a decisive role. Inventory accompaniment from the preparation down to the planned/actual comparison gives the parties involved additional security about the proper sequence of events.

Inventory counts are particularly tricky if the warehousing activities may not be interrupted. This calls for some precise planning so as to obtain reliable results for the inventory count.

In the event of a change of service provider in an existing warehouse, special measures are regularly needed during an inventory count too because in this case a limitation of liability has to be agreed.
